Positive: The house feels like an actual Japanese home. Lots of little details that were clearly thought about from the owner. Very clean as well.
Negative: It’s a great location if you want out of the huddle of Tokyo but if you are looking for that, it can be far. Worked great for us though.

Positive: we stayed here for 4 nights on the second floor.. we liked the quiet and peacefull place close to the JR station. The family markt and green grocery stores are very close. The host was very helpful and promptly answered our questions. the house is very clean and comfortable. ideal for a family or for people that need a good night rest.
Negative: its about 45 minutes from central tokyo and there are a limited number of restaurants.

Negative: There was nothing in particular that I didn’t like, but I would have preferred to have the television in the room with the large bed.

Positive: The two bedroom (four twin bed) unit we rented was clean, cozy and well equipped. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and mostly residential. Close to Kita-Kashiwa station which will get you to Ueno in about 40 min. Outside the station, you will conveniently find a Familymart and Hidakaya. The welcome snacks are a nice touch.
